But in unstable contexts, the continuity of this work relies on skilled security risk management professionals.
These professionals assess context, analyse risks, and provide guidance that enables organisations to operate responsibly. Their expertise does not remove every risk, but it does allow humanitarian and development programmes to be delivered more safely and sustainably.

The Global Giving Team is a community of individual supporters who commit to giving consistently to INSSA, either personally or with the backing of their organisation.
Your individual membership reflects a personal commitment to stand with the professionals who keep humanitarian programmes running in difficult places.
Membership requires a minimum commitment of two years – because lasting support is what delivers lasting change.
To become part of this initiative, choose one of the following:
Set up a recurring monthly contribution of $25 or more, sustained for at least 24 months (2 years)
OR
Make an annual contribution of $300 or more, with a pledge to continue for at least 2 years
