Abdelghani Bakhach is a distinguished professional with a strong background in human resources management, social work, and civic education. His early career began in the Royal navy forces in Morocco, where he worked in the human resources department. He later transitioned into the private sector, taking on roles such as Development Officer in the Mediterranean Agency for International Cooperation-Morocco. Academic Background Abdelghani holds an MA in Primary Care Mental Health from a medical school in Lisbon and he is studying MB at business school in Barcelona. He also has a BA degree in Sociology-related to sociology of terrorism from CADI AYYAD UNIVERSITY-Marrakech-Morocco and a public diploma in human resources management from a Specialized Institute of Applied Technology. Professional Experience Abdelghani has held several positions in youth work, adult training, and cooperation and development. He was involved in various projects in Europe as part of a non-governmental organization. Currently, he serves as the National Coordinator of the Union for Fight Against Malnutrition (UFAM) and was nominated by the Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition (AAHM) - FAO as AAHM focal point Morocco. Leadership and Coaching Abdelghani is a certified coach, having completed training courses in the Netherlands. He has also participated in numerous online and on-site training courses in leadership, project management, and personal development. Community Engagement As the Co-Founder and President of the Youth Association for Culture and Development, a non-governmental not-for-profit organization, Abdelghani has been instrumental in carrying out and supporting international voluntary service and intercultural education. He has organized internships in Morocco for international students and created various voluntary projects for incoming foreign volunteers. Recognition Abdelghani was recognized by the United States Institute of Peace as a peacebuilder. He has attended several international workshops and meetings concerning youth issues and human rights, and has been dedicated to educational and youth policy issues related to social justice, sustainable peace, and human rights. Recent Ventures As a retired Royal Navy veteran, Abdelghani is now focusing on writing, drawing from his extensive professional experience to provide guidance on goal achievement and personal development. His upcoming book explores the application of Navy SEAL strategies to goal achievement, also to design new approaches for human security offering readers practical advice and inspiration to succeed.
