Currently, I’m working with the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC), a US-based international NGO, as a country's safety and security advisor in Ethiopia. I've worked in the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) for almost 22 years, progressively holding positions such as field security officer, zonal security coordinator, regional security manager, senior advisor, academic vice-director, and managing director at the Institute for National Security Studies, the intelligence and security training institute of the Ethiopian National Intelligence and Security Service. Academically, I am a master’s graduate in Managing Peace and Security in Africa from Addis Ababa University, Institute for Peace and Security Studies, with a GPA of 3.87. I have always been interested in improving my professional career in an international context, particularly in humanitarian work. I also want to continue to grow in my proficiency while helping those in need.
