Key Responsibilities: r Security Management: Developing and updating security guidelines, standard operating procedures and contingency plans and HSE aspects for country program are in line with standards set by company security policies. r Acting as a point of contact on all security matters for staff at Islamabad office, provincial and district offices. Providing security briefings to all new staff/visitors/consultants arriving in office/country or travelling out to field sites. r Coordinating and monitoring security activities while ensuring safety and security policies, procedures and HSE aspects are implemented. r Collecting security related information from local and regional resources whenever required. Recommending changes in country security plans as needed r Provided accurate and reliable security information and updates for TL by collecting security information from a variety of sources including networking with local security and police agencies. r Identify any security threats and risks for senior management and issue Security instructions to mitigate threats. r Overseeing provincial and district security managers to ensure that company security policies are in place and adhered as per required standards. r Issuance of Security instructions and weekly security reports to Expats and national staff for awareness of security scenario in country. r Tracking all international and national staff and visitor movement outside the offices on a 24 hour basis. Management and overseeing of fleet officer regarding vehicle travel by staff (route planning, risk assessments and ensuring vehicles are equipped and fit for travel). r Dealing and liaising with Ministry of Interior (MOI), Board of investment (BOI) and Security exchange commission of Pakistan (SECP) to update IMC on current policies and requirements by these regulatory authorities carry on operations in Pakistan. r Liaising with Ministry of Interior (MOI), Home departments of Punjab and KPK for NOCs required for travel of IMC expats for field visits and various visa issues. r Managing Guarding, Fleet contracts with security service provider companies to ensure smooth provision of services for IMC in Pakistan. r Maintenance of good relations and liaison with Security Staff from other agencies including PHF, UN, relevant Government agencies, partner NGO's , INGOs and other forums, and gather security information from these sources and liaise with local law enforcement agencies and District Administrations for further dissemination to SMT and all Staff . r Human Resources: Overseeing the recruitment of qualified national security field staff, recommending promotions, disciplinary action and termination of staff in consultation with the top management to HR department. r Training/Capacity Building: Determining training needs for the security staff, training security team and all staff in dealing various incidents like Fire breakouts, fire-fighting and evacuation procedures while increasing their responsibilities in order to build capacity.
